This will also give you the added comfort of knowing you have the only one in the world with your special design. No one can buy it at the mall.
If you have a design are drawing that you like all you need is a few supplies and you can put your own version of it on a shirt with permanent markers. You will need to start with either lightweight white paper or tracing paper. Use that to trace the design that you like. After that if you have a glass topped table the rest is really easy.
The next step is putting a light under the table and the design you want right over that spot. If you have a piece of Plexiglas to place between the shirt and the design it makes it easier. The light shines through the design and is very easy to see and trace on the shirt. Simple line drawings work the best for this. Once you have the basic line drawing on the shirt you can then color it in however you want.
Pros recommend washing the stiffness out of a new t-shirt before starting to trace your new design. Using spray starch on the inside before using the many different specialty markers, crayons or sharpies will make the tracing easier. Using a iron to make the color even more permanent is also recommended, followed by a hand wash using cold water.
