Studying effectively for exams can only mean one thing-get the best grades with the least amount of effort and time on your part. Surely the ultimate goal of education is not just to do well in your exams, but let's face it most if not all of the marks that determine the grade for a particular subject comes from your exam. So let's see what you can do to study effectively for your exam.

If you don't know yet, the past exam questions are gold mine of information for you. There are always types of questions frequently asked in the exams. Look for it, find more of it and do more of it.

Focus on them

What's next? Channel your focus towards the information you obtained. Being efficient means no unnecessary effort or time spent on something that won't be covered in exams. Remember, your exam can never ask everything.

Use your study style

Yes, your very own style, not anyone else. After all who knows yourself best if not you yourself.

If studying alone works best for you so be it, study by yourself and discuss only if you have a problem you can't solve on your own. Otherwise, study in a group but be sure to keep it small as to sustain the focus in the group.

If you are not sure yourself what works best for you, try set a session for each of the style; studying alone and studying in a group and evaluate which session works best of the two.
