Lens material is actually closely associated with the duration the lenses can be worn. Nowadays, contact lenses wearing duration varies from one day to one year. Daily disposable lenses sit on an end that provides the most convenience and freshness. Contact lenses can also be grouped according to their lasting period. There are daily-wear lenses and extended-wear lenses.

However, lens material will never bring any excuse for the ignorance of lens care. Any type of contact lenses requires users to take good care of hygiene and establish a healthy wearing routine. Lens solutions and cleaning products should be carefully selected and applied. In addition, contact lenses can not be worn for a period longer than recommended.
