This medication is also given immediately after the heart attack and helps in preventing the cardiac tissue. This medication act by decreasing he substance that cause pain, fever and inflammation in the body. This medication can be used for angina disorder. Aspirin is prescribed for the cardiovascular condition.

How should I take this medication?

Aspirin medication should be used as according to the prescription suggested by the doctor. Do not over dose it or take in excess amount and should not be used for longer duration if it is not prescribed by the doctor. The patient should go for regular check up in order to see whether or not the medication is performing well. This medication may also cause upset stomach, contraction of heart, drowsy and head pain. Aspirin may also induce allergic reactions like hives, breathlessness, swelling on face, lips, tongue, and throat. It may make the mouth go dry, induce drowsiness and light headedness. Patient may feel weak, irritable and experience muscle pain.

What precautions do I need to follow while using Aspirin?

Lactating mothers should consult their doctor before taking Aspirin as it passes into the breast milk and cause harm to the nursed child.
