Student associations are generally associated with the self-regulation

, and assistance in governing universities. In fact, most student associations are run by students, and this governing does not depend on the official university administration. The aim of the organizations is to represent the interests of the students communities within the university or college, as well as externally, including domestic, national and abroad scales. All the other activities and services are based on the students interests, and management of these interests from the perspective of regulating various committees, councils and meetings.

Overview of the Unions Activities

The fact is that, lots of unions are highly politicized, and often become the training grounds for future politicians. Thus, unions often arrange elections of the president, his or her deputy, council and executive committees. The campaigns are even more vigorous in comparison with the election campaign of the president of the USA. Participating in student unions, students acquire various skills which will be useful in their career, whether it will be in the sphere of business, politics, or science.

1.Students learn the necessary communication styles which are required for communicating within a multi-structured organizations.

2.Students gain the experience of rivalry and civilized competition, as numerous political elections often lack this type of competition.

3.Even if the union is not politicized, students learn to act in team and focus on the burning issues of the union activity. Hence, they plan to set up the system of priorities and plan the activity in accordance with the existing environment. Finally, this will help them solve the aspects associated with their career and various working assignments.

The activity of student unions presuppose pursuing of various aims and objectives, however, the actual importance of the unions depends on the organizational level, and the issues which are solved.
