Associate Membership What It Is And What It Means To You
Associate Membership gives you the opportunity to become actively involved in the services and facilities offered by the CQU Student Association.
Associate Membership offers you a great opportunity to participate in Student Association organized events where you will meet people who share common interests and different cultural backgrounds.
Associate Membership of the CQU Student Association is a way in which people other than students are able to become members of the Links Of London Necklaces student organization. The benefits of being a part of the Student Association are many. Associate membership presents an opportunity to be involved with a progressive student service organization at a time when it is enlarging its representational base, building improved University and wider community relationships and initiating many new and exciting facilities at all Central Queensland University Campus locations. Your input as an Associate Member is crucial to achieving a balanced and equitable provision Links Of London Charms of services to all persons in the University community.
Associate members to have equivalent entry (discounted or free) criteria as ordinary members (students) to Student Association events and functions:
1. The BirdCage Bar, Rockhampton and all other campuses (in your local vicinity)
2. Access to club participation for all Associate Members. Same benefits apply as an Ordinary member (students).
3. Placed on a mailing list for access to all Student Association publications upon notification by member (please see application form).
4. Invitation to all Student Association events and functions including the Student Association's Annual Presentation Evening.
5. Networking opportunity with other Associate Members.
6. Numbers permitting -- at least one Associate Member functions per year.
7. Membership card.
8. Opportunity to become involved with the Student Association Board of Directors as an elected member of the Board.
Who is eligible for associate membership?
1...Students enrolled in subjects or courses, other than award courses.
3. Graduates of the Central Queensland University (or any of its predecessors).
4. Members and past members of the University Council.
5.Other persons as determined by the Student Association Board.
