Astrology Compatibility Of Various Star Signs

Astrology compatibility is an interesting idea to consider

. It may seem strange to think that your date of birth can affect your personality just as much as the environment that you grew up in, but a lot of people do believe that there is a lot of truth in it. Some people make sure to find out another persons star sign a soon as possible to see if they are going to be compatible with them.

The calendar year is divided into twelve months and there are also twelve star signs each which last for the duration of one month. The star signs are based on star constellations that can be observed in the night sky. Most astrology is based on someones sun sign, but everyone also has a moon sign.

Each sign is represented by a different symbol, and the symbols themselves represent one of the character traits that people born under that sign are supposed to have. For example, people born under the sign of Gemini which is represented by the twins are often said to have a split personality. In addition there are four different elements which are earth, air, fire and water. Each sign is ruled by one of these elements.

Each sign will also belong to one of three different qualities, and so can be either Cardinal, Mutable or Fixed. There are four signs in each of these groups. There are different personality types attributed to each quality.

Astrological charts can be drawn up for an individual, and will take into account all these different things when calculating how compatible they will be with another particular sign. It is a much more accurate process if both the people know their time of birth and where they were born. It is possible for an astrologer to make a very detailed assessment of how compatible a couple will be.

Most people will use these charts for romantic purposes.These charts can also be used to see if two people will become good friends or if they would be good as business partners. It is perfectly possible for two people to seem to be very compatible even when astrology says otherwise.

The question then is does astrology compatibility always work. There are exceptions to every rule. Not everyone will conform to their astrology type, and the majority of people will have at least one character trait that does not match up with their sign. Most of us though will have identified someone as having a character trait that is typical of their sign. Although compatibility tables do not always work there does seem to be some grain of truth in them, and that someone born under a fire sign will not get on in the long term with someone born under a water sign, whereas a water sign will get on well with an earth sign.
