Piedmont Park is a very well known city park located in Midtown. It is 189-acres and considered to be the Central Park of Atlanta. The park has many public amenities to enjoy. Some of these are covered picnic areas, tennis facilities, Lake Clara Meer, the Lake Clara Meer dock and visitors center, and a few playgrounds. In 2008, a 53-acre addition to the park was started. The building of a swimming pool was started at the same time and the pool was opened in the summer of 2009.

Midtown consists of many different types of neighborhoods. There is a place here for everyone. There are more upscale neighborhoods such as Ansley Park and Atlantic Station, as well as neighborhoods that with houses that are as high priced such as Home Park and Sherwood Forest. With all of the different neighborhoods there is a great Atlanta Midtown home for sale no matter what your financial situation.

Midtown is a growing community. There are new condominiums being built in the area. There are also new stores and businesses being built. This is possible because the area has had a consistent number of new people moving into Midtown.
