Attain Higher Profits With Ppc Advertising Strategies

Don't let anyone tell you that you cannot succeed and make tons of money using pay per click advertising

. This form of advertising is unique in many ways and has been around for ten years or more. It all started with Google, as many things have, and they have made a ton of money with it. Of course there are lots of people who have and continue to make good money from PPC advertising.

There are many important concepts to know and act on with pay per click advertising. Right at the top is the concept and idea of relevance. Everything in your individual ad groups must be relevant to everything else within the particular group. Google and other platforms can easily check for this, and your CPC will be affected. If your destination URL is not relevant to your ad, for instance, then you will pay more. If you choose to pay it, because perhaps you are not aware of this, then you will also suffer with your traffic. That lack of relevance will cause your visitors to navigate away simply because they were expecting something else.

When you have decided on a landing page, not a squeeze page, for your destination URL, then keep a few things in mind. First of all, at Google, your landing page cannot have a bunch of ads on it. You don't want that anyway because they are a distraction. But you must make your landing page as valuable and attractive to the visitor as possible. So avoid having an optin box above the fold, and you may want to remove it completely from that page. What you want is the lowest bounce rate possible with this landing page. So you have to make it highly relevant to the visitor in terms of what your PPC ad promised.

If you are using a PPC ad that sends the visitor to a squeeze page, non-Adwords PPC, then there is an important consideration. You will get better results when the squeeze page is identical in design with your main site. So if someone opts in at your squeeze page and you send them to your site, make sure the designs are the same. The reason for this is that people are expecting something that is the same whether they know it or not. What you will find is your bounce rate will be dramatically lower when you use the same design. This has been proven over the years, sojust test it out for yourself if you are doubting.

It is important to know that pay per click advertising can be a tough place to do business. You will find people with experience who know how to torpedo your campaigns. But that is no reason to avoid it, and you can get around these things pretty easily, anyway. Plus, some of those people will teach you how to do those things because they have products like that.
