Atypical Mole Syndrome: Causes, Symptoms And Treatment.

. However, this wish is not fulfilled due to happening of various skin problems. There are various skin problems which are faced by human beings and one such problem is the Atypical mole syndrome. Another name for this disease is dysplastic nevus syndrome.

It is a skin problem and happens because of the presence of mole over the body which can be up to more than 100 in number which is way more than what is normally found on the body of the persons. Further, the moles that are present are not of same dimensions and constructions. Even the appearances of the moles are different from each other.

The presence of moles in such a large number and in such shapes and structures must be taken seriously as non-treatment of the disease can lead to further medical problems such as cancer known as malignant melanoma. A regular treatment is imperative if one finds an increase in number of the moles.

The Atypical mole syndrome is of two types- first one is familial atypical mole and is genetic in nature. By this we mean that one of the family members would have large number of moles over his body and that will lead to disease for the decendents of that person. The second one is melanoma syndrome. It is not genetic in nature and one does not needs to look to its decedents for such kind of disease. The disease in such persons occurs on its own.

Caused

The disease is caused due to presence of tumors which are in the form of mole on the skin. Further, a person can suffer from this diseases genetically or heredity. Also, a person who is normally exposed to sunlight also has a high chance of suffering from this disease.

Symptoms

The main symptoms to identify the diseases are that there are large numbers of moles which are irregular in size and shapes, the moles have an itching sensation and bleeds. Further, they generally occur in adults who are of age 20 or above. Also, the appearances of the mole changes and there is frequent development of new moles over the body.

After understanding as to what lead to the occurrence of Atypical mole syndrome and what are its various symptoms. It is necessary to understand what treatment one must undergo to cure this disease.

Treatment

A person who is suffering from this disease must undergo strict medical treatment. The treatment that a person must process is to get rid of such moles as soon as it appears to deviate from its size and dimensions. Cutting these moles is the first option. Another method is scorching of moles or freezing of moles.

Cutting of the mole leaves a scar on the body of the patient but if not cured can lead to cancer. Thus, it is suggested that people who are suffering from this kind of disease must undergo regular medical checkup each year so that the problem do not persist again and again.
