It is impossible to cover all the alumni associations in this article in two reasons, there are really many of those and there is no credible information about all of the alumni associations in the United States of America. Paying attention to Auburn Alumni Association, we are going to show the main importance of such organizations and the power they have. Mission The main mission of the Auburn Alumni Association is to create strong and reliable relations between Auburn University and those who have already graduated from it; promote the traditions of the University and remain thankful for those who gave good knowledge for its alumni. Vision Auburn Alumni Association's vision is to cultivate long-term relationships between the University and its former students. Goals 1. Strengthen the interrelation between the University and Auburn Alumni Association. 2. Amend representation of the association interests in the University. 3. Support current students with scholarships and recruit former students with the purpose to increase its memberships. 4. Improve the communication within the association. 5. Organize the activities and programs for students. 6. Increase its financial position. The history of Auburn Alumni Association appearance is usually connected with the date of April 19, 1945. But, there is some information that this organization has existed since 1890s. This association leads an active social work. The graduates from Auburn University can turn there for help and the members of the association will gratefully help. This association serves as the reminder that students of one and the same University are a family and their members should help each other during hard times. Auburn Alumni Association also organizes different extracurricular activities which help embody its mission and implement its goals.
