With the use of Cat5 cables for connections, a distance of up to 300 meters can be achieved.

The audio video extender unit with a built in amplifier has a frequency range of 10Hz-25Hz and gain adjustment control. Light weight and compact this audio out feature of this device supports multi media speakers, earphones as well as headphones whereas the mic in supports condenser and dynamic microphones. Both the audio in/out as well as the mic in/out connectors are 1x3.5mm stereo jack. Operating at a voltage of 9V, this product has a 1 jack RJ45 connector.
