Autism Facts -dispelling Any Myths To Uncoverthe Real Deal About Being On The Spectrum

I researched this shot report on autism facts as I really concuded that there are

very few people who claim to what autism is all about and what it means to be autistic or to have a family member "on the spectrum".

What I have realised over the years is that just when you begin to understand about being autistic, you realise how little you really know. What I like to do is to look at autism facts and what is truly understood about autism and take work my way through it.

Listening to so many parents over the years that have autism in the family, making sense of and sharing autism facts has helped them enormously and it has also helped explain ASD. In general when it comes to autism; each person can have some common features with different autistic persons and integrate quite easily with others not on the spectrum.

Unfortunately a number of people struggle to do normal every day events and struggle with social activities and becuase of this can be poles apart from others with an ASD. It is important to put to bed any rumors and non truths around autism and state only what are known autism facts.

1.First when you consider autism, a child can be high functioning or severely autistic. An autistic person can be have a high I.Q, be able to speak normally and participate in mainstream school to one where a child may no verbal communication, deal very poorly to social events and can find daily duties a huge difficulty.

This is one of the autism facts that people tend to have most difficulty with. Having said that, even smart children with ASD will have some features in common with others who have a more severe form of ASD. These can include lack of empathy, poor eye contacts, poor use of language and communication, inflexibility to make changes or try new things are an example of the range experienced by autistic sufferers. Hence autism is referred to as a "spectrum disorder".

2.Types of high functioning autism are Aspergers Disorder and Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified.

3.Examples of autism facts are that every person with autism you meet will be different. This is why it is such a complex disorder and why it can be hard to explain to others what autism means since it can show itself in different ways and under other situations. Some issues are permanent while others only come about under conditions that cause stress, when plans change or when presented with something new.

4.People often query a cure for autism, but at the moment there is no permanent cure. Again this is one more of the autism facts. Instead there are many different treatments, interventions, therapies, pharmaceutical grade medications and health supports used to assist the person and assist them with s they struggle with. Because of this, there can be improvements in symptoms felt by persons with autism. The extent of the improvement depends on the person and can be temporary or permanent.

5.Having a form of autism does not have to be a negative disorder as there are so many people with autism who go on to lead very influential lives. This is a real positive autism facts. I really hope you found the above summary helpful and that you may pass this on others who may benefit from these autism facts.
