The unique, straight Rowley Mile course is largely unchanged since that time now with the new stands and it is on this hallowed turf that the new champions emerge year after year.

During the Autumn season nine race days will be run on the most historic stretch of turf in the entire world of sport, where equine champions have been crowned for centuries and highlights include The Cambridgeshire Meeting featuring The totesport.com Cambridgeshire Handicap and the superlative Champions' Day, overall the highest class race day in Britain.

If you are looking to combine an overnight stay or short break whilst visiting the races, you may wish to look further afield than Newmarket, which not surprisingly gets extremely busy during the races. This also gives you an opportunity to visit other attractions in the area.
