Avoiding Credit Repair Scams

The most common way of committing credit repair scam these days is to portray that

they can delete the unsatisfactory data from the records of their clients as they have good contacts in the bureaus, having these data.

But the story is different, as there would be no one as stupid in such agencies to risk their career for a stranger or for any request of a close friend even.

A credit Report can only be fixed by reporting an error on time if something is verified to be incorrect. But this could be cared of if you can tackle it yourself by just reporting it on time and it will get fixed if its evident to be an error only.

Such companies are mostly fraudulent and their basic aim is to trap you in your need, have your money and vanish from the scene.

Another way derived by these companies of fooling you is to convince you on the point that they can clear your Credit report by convincing the bureaus that the debt you owe in your report is a mistake. But what if it gets proved that you really owe that debt and they have all the records with them?

So, its very much clear that companies claiming such statements to you are not genuine and they will definitely run away either without making an attempt or by making a weak attempt by some false means and after charging you for this they will leave you in the same state as you were before. As there are only to possible solutions for a debt to be erased from your list .One is to be able to prove that it is false or too old to be still listed in the current debt list.

Another way to cheat your innocent minds is by saying that the can renew the record file and all the previous data can be erased. Which can never be possible?

The only legitimate way to get your records clean and debt free is by paying of your previous bills and loans on time. There would also be some companies offering you one of the above mention stupid way outs or even offering you loans to clear your records by paying out debts even on lowest interest rates.

So be aware of such frauds. And always follow the legal and clean procedure offered by genuine companies. You dont need to get involved in asking for loan from a Credit Repair company which is of course not its business.

If any credit repair company offers you to call at 900 numbers and have advise from them on how to clean your records than be careful as these lines are going to charge you a lot.

All this never meant to state that there all the Credit Repair companies are fraud and they should not be trusted. But it is best to do it yourself as its easy. Just request the concerned agencies to investigate the issue by their own, what you can do best is to inform them or contact them on time.
