While in Austria, you should also visit the capital city, Vienna. It is the cultural, political and economic centre of the country, and is designated a UNESCO heritage site as it is rich in architectural interest. It rivals Vancouver in terms of quality of life for its residents, and attracts thousands of visitors per year. It was originally a Celtic settlement, and is well worth a visit, to see a city rich in culture and heritage.
