The first thing that comes to your mind when you plan a vacation is how to reach there and the second is where to stay.
The first thing to choose is not that difficult because eventually you don't have to stay in there for let's say more than 24 hours. So you don't have to hand pick a select few and then make a choice you just take the first comfortable thing that would reach your destination.
Choosing where to stay at times can cause you in a "not at ease" situation. If you're visiting India you must know what to look in for in a hotel. India is a land of multiple cultures merged in together and that is what makes it a beautiful place to visit too. For example, Goa is different that Delhi and so is Pune. The first thing you should look for is the distance from the places that you would want to visit. In Goa, a hotel near the beaches would be just fine but in Delhi or Pune a hotel at a remote place would not do much at all. Delhi hotels or Pune hotels should be located somewhere in the middle of the city because the sightseeing locations are scattered almost around these cities.
Especially Goa hotels have to be a little off of the main tourist attraction because you don't want to see a crowd there as well, You might take the liberty to find more about hotels, their price range etc on the internet and make a good decision about the reservation.
