Awesome Off-roading Spots In Western And Eastern Utah

This is our final installment with our favorite spots to go off-roading in Utah

. This article focuses on the great trails in Eastern and Western Utah. There are many different trails, so here are a few of our favorites.

Amasa Basin - This trail can be found in the Western area of Utah. Amasa has a lot of trails that you can ride. There are 33 miles worth of trails. The trails vary in difficulty, starting with easy and moving to difficult.

Cricket Mountain - This is another great choice for Western Utah. Cricket Mountain uses trail-heads in Johnson Pass, Headlight Canyon, Cedar Pass and the Little Sage Valley. You can choose to go on one, or multiple, passes.

Conger Mountain - Conger Mountain is also found in Western Utah. It has 127 miles worth of ATV trails. You can find the trail-heads at Little Valley Well or Kings Canyon. Remember to have your ATV shocks serviced before going on your trip here to ensure a smoother ride and more pleasant experience.

Energy Loop - If you are adventurous, this is the right spot for you. The Energy Loop is found in the Eastern part of the state, and has a variety of terrain and trails on the Arapeen off-highway vehicle train system. You get a great combination of wildlife, and beautiful scenery.

San Rafael Swell - This is the another Eastern swell. It is known for its gorgeous sandstone formation. It also offers beautiful panoramas and scenic streams and canyons. Since there are hundreds of miles available to off-roading, this is a favorite part for recreation.

When traveling, especially in the Western parts of Utah, it is important to remember that the area is remote. This means that you will not have any services anywhere west of Delta. When you are ATVing it is important to take precautions and carry water, food, and fuel near you at all times in case you run in to trouble.

You need to also take care of your ATV. Have the ATV shocks serviced before you leave on your trip. ATV shocks allow for a much smoother, safer, and comfortable ride.
