The defense that allowed 21.5 points per game returns just 5 starters but has also
been consistent in the Mendenhall era as the head coach has always been heavily involved in the defense. BYU has been something of an overlay in college football odds for the past 2 seasons with a combined mark of 10-15 against the spread including 4-6 against the number as home betting favorites.
