I am sitting here looking outside my window here in Highlands Ranch

, Colorado, just south of Denver and it is snowing very hard. With the wind chill it is 19. We are going to get 8-10 inches of snow in the next 24 hours and it is not going to get any warmer.

Days like these are exactly why I started with Internet marketing. My goal was to make money online and work whenever I wanted, wherever I wanted!

As an outside sales rep in my previous career, on days like this I would be out driving around with all of the other crazies! Not necessarily the best way, or the safest way to make a living.

Some of you may be procrastinating getting your own online home business going. I would encourage you to take a step back and analyze where you are in your own life right now.

Is your income where you want it to be? Do you have the kind of lifestyle you want? What can you do to change that?

Things are constantly evolving online and right now it is the best time to start your own home business using the Internet. This is not going to be easy to do, but with a little bit of effort and education you can learn how to stay at home and make as much money as you want.

I personally like the affiliate marketing business model. This is a good way for you to get started because anyone can make money from affiliate programs.

They are free to join and there are numerous ways to make money as an affiliate marketer. The most common of these is to sell products for affiliate merchants.

However, you can also do other things such as getting paid by the click, or getting paid by the lead. There are many people who earn a full-time living just using one of these business models.

One other thing I would suggest is looking closely at the network marketing business model. There are many excellent MLM programs you can join and be in business for yourself very quickly.

Look closely at the product lines of the network marketing opportunity. Find one that has a strong Internet-based product and you can build a worldwide business very quickly.

No matter what you do online you will need to learn a few Internet marketing skills. However, these are things anyone can become adept at with a little bit of practice.

It's great to be able to get up every day and take the 30 second commute to your home business office. No matter how cold it is outside it's always going to be 72 inside and a great way to make money.
