Backwaters In Alleppey

I would like to share my experience in Backwaters in Alleppey

. The actual plan was to cover entire Kerala but after lots of research we decided to explore only Alleppey and places near to it. I guess this was the best decision of our life as we get to experience some of the best things in world. One couldnt feel the exact beauty of the place just by reading or seeing the images of the places. You have to be there to experience the beauty. If we had decided to explore entire Kerala, we would have surely missed these special moments. Since it was our first visit to this place we decided to book our accommodations online way before we started the journey. We had book Panoramic sea resort as it was within our budget and it provided the facilities which included Backwaters services by resort.

The day we checked in, we did nothing but took a good long stroll in the Allapuzzha beach. The cool breeze and the setting sun made us realized why Kerala is the best place for vacation. After our walk on the beach we had a pleasant dinner inside the resort. We ordered some sea food and it was the best spicy food we had in long time. The next day the resort guys organized a houseboat facility for us. The thought of spending an entire night in a boat surrounded by fresh water itself was mesmerizing. The houseboat was indeed a luxury one. It had three rooms furnished with all the modern amenities. We were treated to the best services. The experience of having a night out amidst nothing but water was a thing which I want to experience over and over again. We could hear the dancing of trees in the air. Along with it sudden noises of animals made us believed that we were actually living in the wild. All of us watched the sun greeting us early in the morning. It was then we actually felt sleepy. We slept till afternoon and headed to the river in the evening. Our guide took us to other side of the river and we were led in to a tiny hut which actually was a restaurant. They offered some of the best sea food which I could only hope they serve at every other place. Along with some local alcohol the taste of the sea food was more scrumptious. They also entertained us with local songs and the song is still playing in my mind. It was so good that we actually started dancing to the song. The entertainment shifted from the hut to the river, apart from us there was one another group who were enjoying the mood. We sat down on the banks and could feel the silent moment of rivers. Under the shining light of the moon, we could see trees really far. The only thought which we all were having was that such moment comes once in lifetime and we really have utilized it to the maximum.
