Bad Breath Prevention Methods

, it may be because you have halitosis or commonly known as bad breath.

If you're 100 percent positive that you have bad breath, your first step is to visit your dentist and have your teeth cleaned. Bad breaths are commonly caused by the accumulation of germs in your teeth and mouth that's why your dentist is the best person to see for that matter.

If you fail to brush your teeth thoroughly, chances are pieces of meat will be left stuck between your teeth, and you'll wonder why your breath smells like the steak you have just had for dinner. To prevent this, brush your teeth completely after eating a meaty meal. Flossing afterwards will also do the trick.

Sometime, if you are acidic, gas from your stomach will come out of your mouth when you burp or exhale. If this is the case, I suggest you minimize your intake of hot and spicy food. Too much garlic, chili and onion on your dinner will cause you to breathe out fire. Now, that is exaggerated. However, if you really want to get rid of bad breath, start eating food that does not have a strong smell.

A change of lifestyle is always important if you want to see a positive transformation in any area of your life. If you're a chain smoker and a heavy drinker, I suggest you take things slow. Nicotine found in cigarettes can settle in the teeth and mouth for quite some time, making your breath smell like hell.

After trying all the things suggested here and you still get the same result of people trying to avoid you every time you attempt to start a conversation with them, try using mouthwash after brushing your teeth. Flossing after brushing your teeth is also a good way of ensuring food stuck in-between teeth are totally removed. Frequent spray of breath freshener might also do the trick; thus, keep mint fresheners in your bag for those emergency cases.
