For instance, the licensed agent can ask where he or she is currently detained, how long has he or she been there, what are his or her criminal charges, do they work, etc. This initial interview is the time when the bail bond agent evaluates the risk involved in the bail bond.

If the bail bond agency approves the bail bond, the bail bond paperwork will be finalized and the agent will then post it at the appropriate detention facility or jail. This will then result to the temporary release of the defendant.
