The most vital cause of hair loss is insufficient nutrition. Persons lacking in vitamin B6 lose their hair and those lacking in folic acid often become totally bald. But the hair grows generally after the liberal intake of these vitamins.
Stress, Prolonged Illness, impure conditions
Other important causes of hair loss are stress such as worry, anxiety, and unexpected shock, general weakness caused by severe or long standing illnesses like typhoid, syphilis, chronic cold, influenza, and anaemia; an unclean situation of the scalp which weakens the hair roots by jamming the pores with the collected dirt; and heredity

Home Remedies for Baldness
1.Grind fenugreek seeds with water and apply on the head. Leave for at least 40 minutes before washing. Continue it for a month.
2.Do a vigorous rubbing of the scalp with fingers after washing the hair with cold water. It is also a good natural hair loss treatment.
3.Rub the bald area with onions till it becomes red. Then apply honey on the bald area. It is very effective natural cure for baldness
4.Make a mixture of honey with egg yolk. Properly massage on the scalp and hairs. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then wash
5.Apply fresh leaf juice of amaranth to the hair. It will help the growth of the hair and keep it soft.
6.Take uncooked egg yolk and massage it on the scalp. Keep it for an hour and then wash off.
7.Rub olive oil in the scalp. This would help reduce hair loss.
8.In a cup of coconut oil, add some dry pieces of amla. Boil this mixture and when cool apply it on the scalp. This is beneficial in reducing hair loss.
9.Applying coconut milk is also beneficial in treating hair loss. Massage the hair roots with this and rinse it after some time.
10.Boil water and put blanch scented geranium leaves in it. Strain the water and allow it to cool. When cool, wash the hair with it.
11.In cup olive oil, add 1 tablespoon of cumin. Rub this over the scalp and leave it for half an hour. Rinse the hair later.
12.Take a few rosemary leaves and boil them in water. Strain the combination and store the liquid. Use this concoction daily to rinse the hair with.
13.Combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, rosemary, 1 lemon juice and 1 egg yolk. Apply this mixture on the hair roots and keep it for half an hour. Then, wash off this mixture.
14.Extract juice from green coriander leaves. Apply this juice on the head. This proves worthwhile in treating hair loss.
15.Boil water and put blanch scented geranium leaves in it. Strain the water and allow it to cool. When cool, wash the hair with it.
