The ball mill is a cylindrical device used in grinding or mix materials, such as ores, chemicals, ceramic raw materials and paints. The working principle of ball mill:

Ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotation device, driving by brim gearwheel; there are two chambers and grid. Material goes into the first chamber through the feeding inlet, inside the first chamber, there are stage liners and ripple liners as well as steel balls with various kinds. The shell rotates which generates eccentricity, this force brings ball to a certain height and then balls drop down by gravity, the impact is the grinding force to the material. After the primary grinding in the first chamber, there are flat liners and steel section, after the secondary grinding, material is discharged through the discharging screen.

The structural characteristics of ball mill:

Ball mill is formed by feeding part, discharging part, rotation part and driving part (gear box, small transmission gearwheel, motor and electric control). The central hollow shaft is cast steel, the inner liner can be changed, the rotation big gearwheel is made by cast hobbling processing, and there are wearable liners with favorable anti-wear ability.
