Bangalore has large number of churches and temples. St. Marys Church, the oldest in Bangalore, was elevated to the status of basilica. Dargah Hazarath Tawakkal is visited by both Hindus and Muslims. Jumma Masjid was an imposing structure. The city is also dotted with large number of temples.
Vidhan Soudha, where Karnataka legislature is situated, is a major attraction in Bangalore. Among other attractions are Lalbaugh, Bull Temple, Cubbon Park, Ashoka Pillar, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium and Film City.
