Baseball had always been much popular in the United States of America and Canada since long time back. The highest championship of the professional baseball game is the Baseball World Series. The Baseball World Series often takes place in October annually and that is why it is also called as the October Classic. The World Series takes place between the Major League Baseball's American and National Leagues annually. It had been played annually since 1903 except in 1904 and 1994 due to a boycott and player strike respectively.

The Texas Rangers came in to the Baseball World Series winning the American League obtaining the fourth best place in the American League beating Tampa Bay Rays in American League Division Series and New York Yankees in American League Championship Series. San Francisco Giants are currently taking the lead up in the series. The 2010 Baseball World Series has got a high media coverage to keep the baseball fans updated with the progress of the Series.
