In any plants like orchids, your basic orchids care is starts from knowing the types or species of orchids that you are going to grow so that you can handle the plants the right way.

Adequate Source of Light

Orchids normally bloom at least three months after planting. Orchids care includes providing adequate source of light so that orchids bloom fast and flowers become healthy and glowing. For indoor orchid growing, you can place orchids in the east portion of the house enough to sustain the natural light coming from the sun. But you can also transfer these plants on cooler shades if it's too hot already. Too much exposure to sun will turn leaves into yellow.


Watering

As part of your daily orchids care routine, you should not to forget to water them on a regular basis but not to over water them also. Certain types of orchids require different amount of water to survive. You can water the plants once every ten days and as soon as the roots dry off, you can sprinkle water on the roots again. You may also your orchids on a water tray but make sure the roots won't soak in the water or it can decay later on.

Fertilizers

Providing fertilizers to your orchids will result into blooming flowers earlier than expected in huge quantity. This orchid's care tip is somewhat tricky because you cannot just fertilize your orchids at anytime you want to. Fertilize the plants before it blooms so that more fresh and vibrant orchids are produced in due time and propagate plants more in the coming days.
