The writing aspect of optimization in particular requires writers to familiarize themselves with a different set of skills. What exactly makes SEO article writing different?

Keywords are at the core of web optimized content. They are therefore what define good web writing. SEO is basically all about making sure that people discover your website and the best way to do this is to write with keywords in mind. When search engine robots drop by your content, keywords are among the things that they check. Relevant keywords are what convince robots that you have the kind of content that people may be interested in.

The biggest challenge for anyone writing SEO articles is to incorporate the keywords while at the same time ensuring that the sentences still make sense. Although the specific keywords are vital, it is important that the creative flow of the entire content is not distorted when adding them in to the copy. The way I do it is to write the article first before putting in all the keywords. Otherwise, you can get stuck writing an article for an entire day and that's not an efficient way of managing time when you're doing SEO writing. After I have finished the article, I go back to my keywords and work my way through the article inserting them where and when appropriate. You will still need to tweak your article to fit in your keywords in order to maintain its flow.

SEO articles normally don't go below 300 words but they don't go over 500 words either. Articles that go below this range will not have enough valuable data on them to keep readers interested. Those however that go beyond the opposite end of the range will be too boring for readers to endure. That would mean they will probably leave your page before they can even get a glimpse of your call to action.

In general, there are a couple of points that every web article writer should keep in mind.

1. Have a specific theme and let the words flow in that direction. Otherwise, you will only bring confusion to the reader's mind instead of clarity on your topic.

2.Articles should be appealing at the very start to make sure that visitors read on till the very end. This will lead them to the last few sentences or to the resource box that calls them to take action.

3.Grammar and technical structure should not be compromised in favor of SEO strategy implementation. Once you do sacrifice the quality of your content, you will end up sabotaging your reputation as an expert in your field.

4.Take the time to proofread your articles to make sure that everything is in order. Never trust in your expertise because even the best experts can make mistakes.

SEO writing is not as hard as you think once you have mastered the general technique. It is simply a matter of adding some additional checks and balances to your already established writing techniques.
