Area 51 is known as the most secretive and mysterious military facility in the U.S
. There have been many speculations and
conspiracy theories surrounding the facility from different people. The facility is located at the Dry Groom Lake in Lincoln County, 80 miles from the busy city of Las Vegas Nevada. Its intense isolation caused many people to speculate. Because of this intense isolation, it came to a point that people have wonder if the facility has been hiding alien bodies and UFOs. Their speculations went stronger when a man named Bob Lazar emerged and claimed to have worked at the facility and was allocated by the US government to a reverse engineering project where scientists perform study extraterrestrial spacecraft and apply the technology to USAF aircrafts. But later on, this speculations fell off after the CIA has declassified the activities occurred inside the facility.
Many have tried to enter the facility but only authorized personnel are allowed. Just this year, Area 51 military personnel have arrested BBC Film crews after entering the restricted Area 51. It was reported on a media company that 12 BBC film crews including the Irish comedian Andre Maxwell and UFO conspiracy theorist Darren Perks have deliberately break the rules and got inside the facility.
There were no guards at the perimeter when they attempted to sneak. Just a few meters from the gate, they were caught by Area 51 personnel and they were forced to lie on the ground. The guards checked the identifications of the BBC crews for three hours while they were lying on the ground. According to Maxwell, one of the guards who arrested them told them that they would have been killed for what they did.
Darren Perks, however, said that the whole crew was touring California, Arizona and Nevada with Andre Maxwell and four other UFO enthusiasts when they have decided to visit Area 51 for a night watch hoping for something phenomenal will happen. He confirmed that the crew arrived at the facility on May 14 at around 5:00 pm.
Perks said that they have driven to Rachel, which is the nearest town to Area 51, and then to the Black Gate of the gate, which is known Rachel Gate NT TR Boundary North. They commenced filming 50 meters from the security perimeter. He said that there were no vehicles and guards at the perimeter. They went inside and nothing happened. Some Area 51 crews have noticed them but did nothing. They saw guards having their dinner while watching TV. One of the BBC crews went to the door huts and knocked; the guards were shocked and arrested them.
Darren said that they were brought to sheriffs office and fined 375 each. After the Washington has called London to inform that 12 Brits have breached security at America, they were released by 11:30m.
