1. Just like the proverb, "Early bird catches the worm", you should train your beagle as early as possible to get the best results. Though they are very intelligent dogs, they can bother you sometime by ignoring your commands and doing whatever they like. So, start your training from the first day you bring them home. If you plan to train them later, then it might be more difficult at the time when they have already picked up some wicked and nasty behaviors.

2. Don't ever implement any negative ways for training your beagle. Negative ways can bring destructive consequences which can be very hard to tackle with. So, use positive reinforcements as a part of beagle training. They respond well to the training that is based on positive approach. The treats that you provide for their good behaviors can motivate them to instill that habit in them permanently.

3. If you have problem with potty training your beagle, then use crates. Crates are in fact, a den for them where they will never mess up. With this idea, you can use crates for the purpose of solving out the problem of potty. Potty training can also be an easy task if your stick to proven schedule, regulation and confinement.

4. Leash training plays a significant role in the process of beagle training. While taking your beagle outdoors, you can ensure the safety of your beagle if you train them to walk nicely on the leash. For leash training, using harness would be the best as they cannot slip out of it like on a leash. Also, harness is comfy around their neck and it's good for daily use as well.

5. Teaching "Come" command to your beagle can help you in different way. For instance, while roaming with your beagle outside, you can tell them to come back with "Come" command when they try to run after something, following their nose. Also, you can save them from accidents when they go to some risky areas by the use of this same command.
