Beautiful Curls With An Amika Flat Iron

. The Amika flat irons can be used for straightening, flattening as well as for curling. Curling using flat irons gives more curls than while using curl irons. The following depicts the method of curling the hair with a flat iron:

First blow dry the hair using a paddle brush to get a straightened and smoothened look.

Next, set the iron on medium to high heat, in accordance with the texture of your hair. If it is fine, then the iron can be set t medium; or if it is thick, then it can be set at or closer to high.

Use a hair styling spray to moist the hair evenly, turn the head upside down for the underneath parts near the nape.

Next let the hair to part naturally, or if one wears a side part, then leave it as the way it is.

Divide the hair into two sections left and right. While concentrating on one side clip away the other sides.

Again with the help of a hair clip, separate a part from the temple to the tip of the ear on one side and clip away all the hair.

Put the straightener near the root and slide it down half an inch and curl it. And repeat the procedure for every half inch. After it is done, the hair will be inside the iron, so release it from the iron.

Again use a hair clip to separate another part about one inch above the other part.

Use the tip of a hair clip to separate another diagonal section about 1 inch above the previous section. Again separate and form part two inches from the previous one. This is done because separating the hair will help the curls to be even.

Repeat the same procedure around the head until the desired effect can be obtained.
