There are those who fear it so much that they would rather keep on looking at things so closely even with their thick glasses, which are all scratched up after a year or two. These are the same people who may have the fear of wearing contact lenses as they fear they may lose them in their eye socket.

It would have been great to know that some peoples vision could have been either saved or restored had the invention of laser surgery for eyes had been discovered many, many years ago. People whose eyesight has diminished over time would be ever so grateful just to get a peak at the world again clearly.

And for the future, there is the hope of restoring total blindness with the technology that seems to pop up out of nowhere, where someone behind the scenes has been working so hard to perfect the original eye to see again, instead of having to have it replaced by another or a fake.
