Becoming A Medical Transcriptionist Means Success

I would like to see a major career change happen to me in the near future. I have worked in the health care field for many years. My first job in the healthcare was when I was seventeen years old. I went to work as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a nearby nursing home. As years went on, I worked in homes, doing private duty in- home patient care for the elderly, worked at Home Health, running to the elderly homes, doing personal care for people who needed my help, and more nursing home jobs, and now I work as a Recovery Staff person in a Mental Health Residential Home, which I really enjoy. Before I became a Recovery Staff person, I put in almost two years in the Vermont State Hospital, which I had learned a lot about Mental Health and Recovery from many clients and their issues.

I am now forty four years old and would love to settle in my own home and start my own business making better money and having a better career for myself. I have some college credits behind me, I had to transfer out of Norwich University back in 1997 due to a back injury, which caused a set back to my lifting limitations as I couldn't carry heavy books, and deal with the sciatic nerve problem I had been having along with the bulging disk situation. As I struggled to find a better paying job and to deal with the back situation, I was in a serious mess; I didnt know where to search for a good paying job. This is where I was thinking about becoming a medical transcriptionist. I could do medical transcription at home, sit and stand at my own pace, be my own boss, no traveling, and not get into the workplace gossip situations that take place. SN:0TG9Y2ESY

I have always wanted to be my own boss, and have my own space at home. I would love the advantage of learning something new that involved using some of the medical terminology that I had learned in College as well as the nursing homes, and Home Health Fields. I feel I could learn through the medical transcriptionist course at home and get all of the training on my own time and the days that I didnt have to work nights at my job. I feel I would benefit working hard, training for this course of becoming a medical transcriptionist, and a good one at that. I want to see myself succeed and earn a terrific salary at learning to be a successful medical transcriptionist, to boost my self esteem, and to feel that happy feeling at doing the job I want to do, not being at a job or place where I dont really feel like I want to be there. In the coming months, I want to focus on an educational career and I think becoming a good medical transcriptionist would be a better choice for me, a great decision. I know I will succeed and become a great medical transcriptionist.
