Becoming Guardians of the Collective Unconscious

Having found my voice, I would like to share it with you It seems to me that many people in the new age movement have been caught up in the idea that manifesting the collective as a conscious physical expression on earth would be a good thing. It seems to me they haven't even stopped to question whether that is so or not. Empaths - people who can experience the emotions, thoughts and pain of others - struggle with what is their stuff and what is another persons. Is this a sign and in fact a warning that the barriers between individual consciousness and the collective consciousness of humanity is collapsing. If we dissolve those barriers completely would we completely lose ourselves in each other and be overwhelmed by all the thoughts and emotions in our collective? Being that we have been conditioned into a fear based, judging society where many people turn judgement on themselves and experience fear, anxiety and depression could we be heading for a calamity?

Having experienced the collective unconscious of humanity first hand and (nearly being completely overwhelmed in it) I can truthfully say that there are things in that collective which is would be irresponsible of us to allow to manifest.

As I see it we have been conditioned over generations in our society to dissociate from ourselves and to lose awareness of our connection to our divinity and wholeness within. This often puts people in a state of disempowerment and mistrust of themselves and they begin to project their power onto authority figures! Each of us in our natural state of wholeness would each know what is good for us and would balance that with what is good for others too.

I see in our societys a society based on values that come from the judging ego and as such causes division and separation in ourselves and between each other. I envision a society that is based on the values of wholeness to be a preferred option. One that for example balances individual needs with the needs of the community. One that values sameness AND difference. One that doesn't use the need and fear to conform to control us.

One in which we take back personal responsibility and think for ourselves about what is good for us and good for us as a whole.

Why? Because it doesnt seem to me that those on who we have projected our power have our best interests at heart. Recovering our awareness of our wholeness and undoing our judging selves will enable us to feel empowered within ourselves. From that position I believe that part of EVERY human beings responsibility is to be a GUARDIAN over the collective unconscious enabling us all from a position of inner power to take responsibility for what thoughts, emotions we decide to let manifest in our world. From a position of inner power I believe each of us would be able to own that the potential of our darker natures exist as a potential in the collective mind of humanity but that we let the darker thoughts just flow through us without feeling the need to manifest them.

Regarding murderers and the like - I think they have become so dissociated from their wholeness that their ability to distinguish between their own thoughts and darker thoughts and emotions they draw to themselves from the collective. Overwhelmed by them they act on them. Projecting our power and relinquishing our power to those in authority has created a corrupt monster in my opinion. They now keep many of us in a state of separation within ourselves and among ourselves so we feel weak and in need of protection and they use the pain and pleasure principle to steer us like a herd towards their own ends. That they have made us disempowered and then have given us access to manifesting powers to attract us is a worry indeed! Who is steering the energy of our focus and to what ends?

I firmly believe that we DO NOT want to manifest the collective mind of humanity on earth but that we need to undo the judgments and beliefs that are keeping us separate from our divine selves and each other to realise our wholeness again and from that standpoint for each of us to become GUARDIANS of the collective unconscious as to what we will allow to manifest on our world. Therein lies our personal power and responsibility to each other and ourselves and our earth. It seems to me that in our weakened state we are allowing many horrors to manifest.

The new age movement and the release of religious information from other cultures as I see it has put power in the hands of ego and we are being encouraged to manifest, manifest, manifest, our hearts desire without the full knowledge of what we are doing and the self responsibility that should come with that. I believe our hearts desire is LOVE, not cars or a new house or whatever the ego has been conditioned into desiring. It pushes us into grow, grow, grow mentality that can cause us to run towards a goal without looking at what treasures we might be leaving behind. Seems to me many people are just running away from theirselves and their pain in an attempt to find something better. God help us!
