You want to make sure that the primary focus of any kind of baseball event is on the game itself as well as having fun and building teamwork skills among suppliers. However, to the extent that little bit of awareness can be raised in the local media about a worthy cause, then it makes sense to potentially pursue this as an issue.
As you can imagine, the primary goal is for the kids to have fun, as well as to be able to develop athletic ability as well as the ability to interact and work with others. Some coaches may not necessarily agree with this, but most would probably acknowledge that these are important factors.
