When you are seeking out beginner acoustic guitars the first thing you will want to take a look at is the neck. Can you fit your hand around it? Can you hold it comfortably? These are the things you need to know as you will be using this guitar for years to come. In addition to that, try sitting on a stool and seeing if the guitar feels right.

The sound is another big part of choosing your guitar, and you will need a beginner guitar that sounds right to YOU. It is true that every guitar sounds different, even if they play the same music. Bear this in mind while you are shopping and make sure you look at a number of different types of guitars. If you cannot play the guitar, ask the sales person to do it for you.
