So in theory, the more people you can get clicking, the more that will buy.

You don't want just any sort of traffic, however. You want targeted traffic and people who are interested in what you have to offer. The best way to get that type of traffic is by getting search engines to send you those visitors. These people have specifically searched for something that is on your page, so they have an above average chance of buying.

In order to get search engine traffic, it's best to build up a big site and backlink it a lot. Once your site has authority in the search engines, it will be easier to rank for future affiliate products you want to promote.

If you want to make the big money however, eventually it would be a good idea to make your own product and have other affiliates promote it for you.

Selling other people's products is a great way to make money online, just don't be under the illusion that it will happen over night. So if you want to be a success online, study these affiliate marketing tips and make sure you put them into practice.
