Beginning Photography - The Recession Proof Industry

How to get started in Photography?

It's a good decision to get started in photography. Beginning photography to earn an extra income without having to actually sell a single photo yourself. It's a recession proof industry, as our 8 million plus populations appetite for photographs can never be satisfied.

But how do we actually get started? Now this is a good question, and it's only as complicated as you make it. If you were to take a picture, which you thought was a great picture. Now with excitement you approach and ask a friend or some people you know for their opinion, most likely the response would be positive.

After which say to them they are in luck because you are willing to sell it, and ask them to pay for it. The same positive responses from just a moment ago will turn into polite declines.

When starting off as in beginners photography you should start putting your photos to work straight away, and build a portfolio as you go along. This gives clear feedback on your photos depending on the amount of money it brings in on automation, more on that in a moment.

Don't consider investing hundreds of pounds in equipment it's highly unnecessary or take a 1000 photography course when starting off, there's simply no need. If you decide to go pro later on then maybe, but start it off as a casual hobby first and see how you get on, more importantly get paid for it.

As an amateur photographer myself I used to make around a few thousand pounds sterling a month taking the pictures and depending on the subject I've decided to concentrate my efforts on. But now I just hire people to do it, as I mentioned this is a billion dollar industry where demand outweighs supply.

A Freelancer in India for example I set a specific criteria and guidelines paid $100 for 3000 pictures which bought me in $3162.23 within the space of six weeks.

Something the freelancer could have done for themselves if only they knew how. But you have to understand this project earned the freelancer $100 for 3 weeks work and is more money than they would have probably made in 3 months, also people like the safety of getting a guaranteed paycheck rather than hoping.

I've now gone so to employ 5 freelancers who work for me, which is a job itself managing them all. This is an industry that should be one of your multiple streams of income. Through trial and error we've compiled the most effective ways to make the money using photos.

I've written a manual with my friend Karren Gilbert who has been a photographer for 10 yrs, showing how you can make the most money using photographs today.

You can get your hands on our proven methods by reading photosonthepayroll it shows how anyone can make the most money possible using photos employing our methods. If you have not already done so pick up your copy at www.photosonthepayroll.com
