One thing I am surprised has not caught on more is the parking permit holders for your sun visor

. I live in a neighborhood where parking permits are required for all residential vehicles. They say it is for security, and I can see that, but to me and many others in this situation, it is more of a nuisance than anything else.

We were issued parking hangtags for our permits rather than one of the sticker types for ease of use and display. For me, there was not much hassle with using my parking permit - the rest of my family, now that is a different story. My wife, for the life of her, cannot go more than two months without losing hers, forcing me to have to deal with the paperwork and hassle of getting a new one issued. After the third time of her either losing it in the clutter of her car or having it break somehow (how she managed to break it is beyond me), I decided to do something about it so I would not have to fill out the paperwork a fifth time.

I went online and found a residential permit parking holder that, I thought, would be the solution to all of our parking problems. I fought that there are several benefits to using a vehicle parking permit holder, whether it be for parking at home, school, or special events, the most of which is never having to worry about losing your parking permit again, which was perfect for my wife. The parking permits just sit there in this neat little plastic pouch and never have a chance to get lost. In fact, the parking permit holder was such a success that we got one for our son to use for his high school parking permits.
