Benjamin Wey developed a business model that would efficiently expand trade relationships between China and the United States. He not only pioneered the path to pair high quality China-based companies with the global capital markets, but also built up the successful business model between China and Wall Street.

It was during the 1990s, when Benjamin Wey started his firm, now called New York Global Group, with just $62 in his pocket. His realized the great global trade potential at least a decade before global investment interests in China really took off. In less than a decade, NYGG has not only created a niche for itself in the China market, but has also grown into a market leader on Wall Street. With access to significant investment capital of more than US$500 million, NYGG has executed more than 200 China-related transactions, creating a history of success.
