While there are other very important features to look for, these are the ones that separate the men from the boys. Skimp out on virus protection at your own risk. Deadly viruses use spyware and keyloggers to record sensitive information like passwords and credit card numbers. They can also corrupt your registry which can cause a fatal collapse of your hard drive. The potential damage of either can be in the thousands.
