It's also a good idea to learn what the worst cities are to be working in the healthcare field in general, because if you are living in or thinking of moving to these cities or the surrounding areas, you might want to consider another location for the sake of your career. Sonographers, like other healthcare professionals, are high in demand now that the population includes the largest number of elderly people in the history of the world. Being qualified to operate sonography tools such as x-ray and ultrasound machines can be very rewarding both personally and financially if you're living in the right city.
