Of the three botanical gardens which can be found in Sydney the largest and most well known are the Royal Botanical Gardens
. It is open every single day of the year and provides free access to visitors. The first botanist that was appointed to it was Charles Fraser who was appointed in 1817. It is one of the oldest locations where exotic plants have been showcased.
