. These green substances commonly stick to the base and the pool walls that can create health issues if they are not controlled. The algae come from the result of the infrequent maintenance, the improper usage, or the stagnant pool water. If you find any algae in your pool, you have to remove them soon. Just take a look at the following tips for getting the best result in removing algae from your pool.

As the first step, you can use pool vacuum to help you removing algae as much as you can. What you have to do is to take off all of the excess algae by using a long pool brush. Besides, you can also buy chlorine shock solution and use it based on the directions from manufacturer.

For the second step, you need to take about a half full of water bucket and then mix with the required amount of the coarse chlorine shock grains. After that, you can add one pound for every 10,000 gallons of water. In order to deal with severe problem of algae, you need to add one pound for every 7,500 gallons of water.

The third step is to turn the pool filter on and then add the mixture of shock to the pool. Just let the pool filter run for 24 hours and try to observe your pool at regular intervals during the day. If you do not find any significant improvement, you need to add the chlorine shock with an increased dosage to your pool.

As the fourth step, you have to clean the pool filter periodically for removing any trapped algae. You also need to carefully monitor your pool in order to find the algae which turn white or gray. If you find that the white or gray algae fall down to the bottom or start to float on the water, you should remove them by using pool vacuum and skimmer rod.
