Clear out the evils. Chips, candy, chocolates and sugary cereals are the evils when it comes to losing weight so empty your cupboards from all of these and avoid the snack aisle in grocery stores. More often than not, when you're doing so well you're going to be tempted so badly to pig out on a tub of ice cream or with 5 bars of chocolates. So to make sure this doesn't happen, reward yourself each time you make significant progress on the weighing scale. When you eat fast, you'd fill up on so much food that you won't realize how full you are until you're stuffed. By chewing slowly, you'll know when you're full so you can stop eating.

Stay hydrated. Many people mistake thirst for hunger when the body is dehydrated, so always make sure you get enough water. Keep a bottle with you at all times and have a drink every now and then, this way you won't be dehydrated and you'd fill up on water as well. These simple steps are easy, effortless and have been proved to be quite effective as well. So with enough determination, you should be able to finally lose weight and have a different resolution next year.
