When you have worked in the field of problems and people for as many years as I have you get to know who you can trust and who is unrealiable or a fake. I used to advertise for staff to work for me regularly and often, as it was a very big business I ran, and most of those who applied for a job were not up to it. Either deluding themselves that they were able to to it or just after the money! If I interviewed 100 people I was lucky if one was good enough.

Now many of these fakes and failures end up setting up their own cheap websites and trying to make some money out of naive and gullible people online. Some of them are bored housewives, others are desperate for a few pennies, others want to boost their ego, others are disabled and housebound and genuinely believe they are capable of it, but are not. I even get emails from people asking me for advice on how to become an agony aunt, when the truth is that if they were capable of it they would not need any advice on it.
