Gurgaon, the millennium city of India spread over 1200 square kilometers is the business hub of NCR. It has some weekend getaway spots too close by in the form of Damdama Lake and a bird sanctuary. Gurgaon enjoys weather exactly like that of Delhi.

Now, Gurgaon is not a tourist place so to say, and thus, there is no well defined peak season or the best time to visit that applies to Gurgaon. However, if you have a choice, make sure you don't come here during the rainy season. The months of July to September see the monsoon rains and the roads here can't hold the rain water.

The rainy season here is categorized by big potholes, clogged roads and massive traffic jams. Probably that's why hotels in Gurgaon see the lowest occupancy rate during this season and hence, most of the hotels in Gurgaon have special offers for guests during this period.

The best time to visit Gurgaon in terms of weather is the months of February to early April and October to mid December. The temperature during this period stays at a comfortable 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. This period is also the time when the rates of hotels in Gurgaon are at their highest. However, there are budget hotels in the city which offer attractive deals throughout the year, irrespective of the season.
