Bethenny Frankel

Bethenny Frankel was born on the 4th of November 1970 and is mainly known for creating the alcoholic beverage Skinnygirl Cocktails

. She is also a well known American TV personality, author, entrepreneur and natural foods chef.

Frankel first hit the TV scene when she took part in the Martha Stewart Apprentice where she achieved second place. Soon after, Jill Zarin who was a member of The Real Housewives of New York City invited Bethenny to join the cast, which at the time Bethenny was unsure whether it was the right career choice for her.

At the time Bethenny was trying to make a name for herself in the business industry and she had a huge appetite for succeeding but she eventually came round and thought the show would benefit her in some way. When she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City she claimed all the other housewives would be out buying diamonds and designer clothing as she was struggling to pay her rent.

Frankel at the time spotted the niche in the market for a low calorie alcoholic beverage that was not available in the shops already. As the ultimate healthy eater and yoga fan, she created her own low calorie drink and went round all the liquor companies to get the product selling. No one saw the potential in the idea except for her self who was adamant it would be a huge success so she decided to make the drink, packaging and brand and launch the product herself.

To her amazement it became a huge hit in the USA as stores were constantly selling out of the product as soon as the shelves were stocked. Bethenny has since sold the Skinnygirl brand for a reported $120 million putting her in 2011s Forbes rich list but, she still makes decisions and creates the new cocktails for the brand that she created.

Bethenny is a working machine, as well as launching her own alcoholic beverages she has also; written 4 best selling novels which were in NYC Times best sellers list, expanded her Skinnygirl cocktail line, started off her own show on Bravo called "Bethenny ever after" which is the most watched show in history on Bravo, signed a deal for her own daytime talk show and many more amazing achievements.

Since Bethenny Frankels success she has recently bought a $4.9 million apartment in the chic area of Tribeca, New York City. The building her and her husband Jason have bought the apartment in is also in the same apartment block as the home of Jay-Z and Beyonce. The apartment has been completely renovated at the cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars which features the red and white theme of the Bethenny Frankel brand.

Her new apartment even includes her own Skinnygirl bar complete with her companys bestselling sangria, margaritas, and wine products. Bethenny has come a long way since the days of being on The Real Housewives of New York City and she is expected to keep powering forward with her brand and success.
