Beware: Broken Habits

The seduction of old bad habits, Looms like a thief, ready to steal your progression and lead you upon a path of mediocrity. Once discarded bad habits never truly go away they loom in the dark alleys of your life waiting to pounce upon you. Bad habits are familiar and comfortable yet they can be destructive and dangerous and in some cases even deadly. Yet they beckon from the playground in your mind to come out and play. Like an unexpected visitor, on the least likely day they ring on the doorbell, although uninvited, they seek to move back into your life. They tempt you to accept them with open arms, just this once they cry.

Don't be deceived, if you fought hard to break a bad habit once you will fight twice as hard the next time. Resist their charms, turn a deaf ear to their pleas, and don't be seduced by their enticements. Bad habits are the bad boys of life that exploit your weaknesses don't invite them back into your life. I realize some bad habits, you have crucified and buried yet they just keep coming back again and again, like a undying demon from a horror flick. You just have to keep crucifying the sucker.

Cling tightly to your good habits, especially those that are newly formed. The temporary discomfort of incorporating good habits will always be less painful, than the destructive path that bad habits produce. May we all continually strive and become successful at feeding the good habits and eradicating the harmful ones.
